WHY DID HE COME AT ALL !!??

 Similarities are striking, rather amazing. 

We were brutalised and traumatized by Muslim invaders, then British brigands, then by self-proclaimed freedom-fighters of AO Hume founded anti-Hindu/anti-national Congress. We are yet to fully recover from the morass of mess, aftermath of Partition-1947 left behind by looters and traitors of dynasty led Congress.

Their King and his family were brutally slaughtered, then came the era of frequent genocides under despotic rules of Lenin, Stalin, Khruscheva, Bulganin, Brezhnev, Kosygyn, Yeltsin, break-up of the USSR under Gorbechev etc.

They had the dawn of Vladimir Putin while we had of Narendra Modi.

Both countries began course correction by rising from ruins and ashes, have now come a long way to reclaim glory. 

President Putin came down for a 27 hr. visit to New Delhi in spite of his heavy engagements pertaining to Ukraine war, international arrest warrant of ICC and unmitigated security threat to his life. Reason has to be a compelling one and inevitable.

The visit came about owing to excruciating pressures which they could combat with assistance of only two countries, China and Bharata. Russians have been reeling under pressures of torturous sanctions, economy under slowdown and the necessity to reduce dependence on China. Bharata have been their time-trusted friends as ever, never did/say anything against them, never lampooned them arrogantly like snobbish Americans or derive any other undue advantage.

Stability and security of their economy as well as diplomatic weightage have been their priorities of late. That they achieved through economic deals of oil, defence etc. while diplomatic weightage through warm Modi-hug, 21-Gun salute, red-carpet welcome and the State banquet in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Bharata have been a huge gainer on various fronts, Non-aligned cum All-aligned, an effective counter to the tariff-terror unleashed by the US President.
